Why sell to Trip's

We're building something different.

Trip's Window Services started in 2020 with a squeegee, a ladder, and a simple belief: if you show up on time, do great work, and treat people right, the rest takes care of itself.

Today we're a growing team serving communities across Los Angeles and beyond. We're not a faceless private equity roll-up — we're operators who care about craft, crew, and customers.

When we acquire a business, we don't strip it for parts. We invest in what makes it special — its people, its reputation, its relationships. We're looking for partners, not transactions.

Common questions

Acquisition FAQs.

What types of businesses are you looking to acquire?

We're primarily interested in home exterior service businesses — window cleaning, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, solar panel cleaning, roof cleaning, holiday lighting, and similar trades. If your business keeps the outside of homes and buildings looking great, we want to hear from you.

What are your geographic requirements?

We're focused on Southern California — including Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Diego County, Santa Barbara County, and the Inland Empire. If you're operating in or around these areas, you're in our target zone.

What size business are you looking for?

We look for businesses generating a minimum of $250,000 in annual EBITDA with at least five years of operating history. We also look for gross margins above 40% and net margins above 20% — signs of a well-run, efficient operation. That said, every business is unique — if you're close to these numbers and have a strong operation, we're still happy to have a conversation.

What happens to my employees after a sale?

Taking care of your team is a top priority. We retain existing employees and invest in their growth. We know your people are what make the business work — we're not interested in making cuts. We're interested in building on what you've created.

Will you keep my business name?

It depends on the situation. In many cases, we'll operate under the existing brand during a transition period while we integrate operations. We understand that your name carries trust in the community, and we're sensitive to that.

How long does the process take?

Most acquisitions take 60 to 120 days from first conversation to close, depending on complexity. We move as quickly or slowly as you're comfortable with — there's no rush.

Is this confidential?

Absolutely. We understand the sensitivity of exploring a sale. All inquiries are confidential, and we're happy to sign a mutual NDA before any financial details are exchanged.
